Valencia is the best city to get around: its size is perfect to arrive at any place by foot. But if you are in a rush or you want to make the most of your day, the city offers you a great public transport network.

Valencia is a dynamic city, also well-known by its nightlife. Whatever style of music you prefer, there is a wide range of clubs and bars to have fun with friends.


The city offers a public bike service, a cheap and environmentally friendly transport to get at any spot in few minutes. In fact there are a total of 2.750 bicycles distributed in 275 stations.

You can use this service for less than 30€ per year. You will need to get the Valenbisi annual card or the public transport card “Mobilis”, also for bus and metro and reusable. Validate your option on Valenbisi’s website and enjoy the free movement around the city!

Valencia has got nine metro lines that offer you the fastest way to get where you need to go.

You can move around the city for just 1.5€. There are different cards to travel throughout the Metrovalencia network. Choose the one that suits you best!

The most comfortable way to travel while you enjoy the beauty of the city.

You will need the public transport card “Mobilis”. You can buy it at any kiosk and charge 10 trips at once to use whenever you want. It is cheaper than getting a single ticket.

The train is the best way to move around the Region of Valencia and discover really nice towns and cities inland or on the coast. “Estació del Nord” train station is located in the city centre in the Xativa street.

Fares depend on your destination but tickets are quite cheap.

The airport of Valencia is located just 8 kilometres away, in the municipalities of Manises and Quart de Poblet.

You can arrive in the city centre by metro with the lines 3 and 5, with a cost of around 4€, or by bus, with the line 150. If you travel by metro you can buy the card “Mobilis”. But don’t forget to keep it because you can use it to buy tickets for bus and bike.

And at night you will find several nightlife areas located in the city centre, by the sea or in the student areas. Write down these districts: El Carmen, Ruzafa, El Puerto, El Cedro, Cánovas…
